(REG) on Tuesday said its operating partnership, Regency Centers, L.P., finalized the sale of $400 million of 5.875% ten-year senior unsecured notes under its existing shelf registration statement. The notes are due June 15, 2017 and were priced at 99.527%. The company said it would use the net proceeds to reduce borrowings under Regency's corporate line of credit. As surmised among the rumorscenti, this morning's Apple Store outage was the preshow for a MacBook Pro speed bump. The new units ship with either 2.2 GHz or 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo (Santa Rosa) processors, upgraded NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT video cards (with either 128 MB or 256 MB of VRAM), new mercury-free LED displays, and a minimum of 2 GB of RAM (yay!) with support for 4 GB (YAY!). The slot-loading optical drive has also been updated to 8x, in line with the MacBook configs. Apple also notes that the 17-inch model "offers a new optional 1920-by-1200 high-resolution display, providing over 30 percent more screen real estate than the standard 1680-by-1050 display." Does it come with a set of magnifying glasses too? The 802.11n version of the Airport Extreme card rounds out the feature package. Carrier --Standard & Poors Ratings Services affirmed its CCC rating on Cricket Communications Inc.s $1.035 billion of senior unsecured notes due 2014 and affirmed its B- corporate credit rating on Leap Wireless International Inc. --Standard & Poors Ratings Services revised its outlook on MetroPCS Communications Inc. to positive from stable and affirmed its CCC rating on its subsidiary MetroPCS Wireless Inc.s $1.3 billion of 9.25% senior unsecured notes due 2014. "The outlook revision reflects the company's continued progress in growing its overall revenues and EBITDA from the wireless markets it established since 2002," said Standard & Poor's credit analyst Catherine Cosentino.
